A Deeper Dive
ICL faced the challenge of fostering innovation among a diverse group of employees while exploring radical new areas and developing eco-friendly line extensions. The company needed a structured program to guide employees in spinning in and out new ventures and ensuring their innovative efforts had a positive environmental impact. Without such a framework, potential innovations risked being underdeveloped or misaligned with market needs.
FedTech created a 10-week, cohort-based innovation training program for ICL. This program equipped employees with the skills and knowledge to explore new ventures, develop eco-friendly innovations, and extend existing product lines. The training included hands-on sessions, expert guidance, and collaborative projects designed to push the boundaries of traditional thinking. The program culminated in a pitch competition, where participants presented their innovative ideas to secure further investment.
The impact of this program was substantial. Employees emerged with a deep understanding of innovation processes and the ability to develop and pitch their ideas effectively. The pitch competition resulted in significant investment, enabling the continuation and growth of promising new ventures. The program not only fostered a culture of innovation within ICL but also led to the development of eco-friendly products and initiatives, aligning with the company's sustainability goals.
